CLIVE LYNE a.k.a. THE BOMBER in his firs competition carrying the 120Kg gas bottle up the 20M course in the Medley Event. The bottles are harder to carry as they are only partially full of water so you have to get the balance right otherwise they will tip all over the place!

BEN BISHOP a.k.a. POPEYE attempting to conquer

on the day, most of the lads could get it up but not all the way over.

PAUL TOUSSAINT in his first competition. Although he still had time to chat to the ladies after a hard days work!

RICHARD HAYFIELD from North Wales a.k.a. THE DRAGON competing in the Ten Ton Wagon Pull. This pull was set over a 30 metre course but was made harder, as the last five meters has a slight incline.

In the barrel load there were five barrels in total. The weights ranged from 100Kg to 120Kg. This might not seem that heavy to you Strongmen out there but the barrels supplied did not have any holes to put you hands through, so it made lifting them a lot harder.

PHIL CHELL a.k.a. THE STALLION in his first competition He came fifth overall and won £25 and a trophy. Definitely a one to watch in future competitions!

BRIAN WALKER a.k.a. THE ROCK. Thank You once again to Brian, for without his help and his little black book of numbers the car frame he is lifting would not have been made.

The total number of people watching the competition on the bank holiday Monday was in excess of 1000.
